Duration
One year · Three semesters
Starts
September 2026
Campus

UWS, Scotland

What you will study

For graduates who want to build AI systems, not just use them. India’s AI talent gap is not in awareness, it is in engineers who can take a model from notebook to production and answer for how it behaves. Teaching runs across three semesters on the Bengaluru campus in a single year, plus a two-week study tour engagement at a UWS campus in the UK, subject to feasibility.

Semester 1
Foundations of machine learning
Semester 1
Programming for AI
Semester 1
Data mining & advanced data science
Semester 1
Intelligent systems
Semester 2

Course structure

180 credits at SCQF Level 11 (equivalent to QAA Level 7), delivered across three semesters of approximately eight to twelve weeks each, with short academic breaks in between.

How you will learn

Teaching is active, participative and case-led rather than lecture-led. Assessment goes well beyond examinations, through essays, research reports, group projects, presentations, reflective portfolios and consultancy assignments. Research runs through the programme from the first semester, not as a module appended at the end.
